he fall semester started on a strong note with recruitment adding 40
new men to our manpower, bringing Chapter total to 130-plus. This
makes SigEp one of the largest men's fraternities on campus. SigEp was
awarded block seating based on the Chapter improving grades to a 3.0
average. We have improved campus involvement, with several members
holding offices in different student organizations.
Chapter operations have been strengthened with a partnership between
Alabama Alpha and the SigEp National Housing Corporation to improve
housing agreements and maintenance. As you will read in the housing
and facility update on page 2, major remodeling inside to several key
areas of the house will improve our ability to attract new members. The
brotherhood is working hard to keep the house and grounds in good shape
amidst the construction, and have been very receptive to Alumni Volunteer
Corporation guidance for Chapter improvements. I am very proud of the
men and have high expectations as we develop programs and leadership to
ensure Alabama Alpha's standing on campus.
I am issuing a call to serve for anyone who can be involved in either
the Alumni Volunteer Corporation or Advisory Groups (a one meeting
per month commitment for each). It has become very evident the
undergraduates want and need our help and mentoring. Please let me know
how I can help you get involved.

Volunteer with the Chapter Today!
We had the honor of formally inducting Jeff Huntley into our chapter as an
honorary brother. Jeff has shown true passion and commitment to our chapter
dating all the way back when Nick Huntley '16 joined in 2012. Now, four years
later, he and his family return to our Chapter regularly as their youngest son,
Matthew, continues his Sigmaship.
