Gamma Tau Chapter welcomes its newest brothers this fall. Your recommendations needed welcome, new memBers T heta Chi has had a great start to the school year, and could not be more excited to start our second year in the new house. Before the school year began, brothers did some excellent work on the house. As you drive by on 34th Street, you will see three new landscaping beds located in front of the house. Inside, composites now hang throughout the house. We wanted to ensure that all Gamma Tau alumni have the opportunity to see their composite photo hanging somewhere in the house when they come to visit. Recruitment week has come and gone, and we are pleased to welcome 21 new members. These men have gotten off to an excellent start, and we look forward to the next semester with these new members. With the success of our new membership program, we are confident that we will see yet another semester of success. As formal recruitment came to an end, we switched our focus to upcoming events, including Parent's Weekend. On Saturday, September 24, parents were invited to the chapter house for dinner and a ceremony. Our next event will be hosting the annual GI Theta Chi philanthropy, where we raise money for the USO. This will be held the week of November 6-11. The Gamma Tau Chapter would like to extend a thank-you to our housing board, alumni, parents, and everyone else who has helped us along our journey. We would not be able to strive as a fraternity without your support. Love and Respect, mitchell torborg '17 Chapter President mitchell.torborg@drake.edu
