UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA Chapter Eternal________________ Charles Tetrick '55 entered Chapter Eternal as a resident of Tulsa, Okla., on December 28, 2015. After graduation, Charles served as an active duty officer in the United States Navy for two years. He practiced law with the firm of Moyers, Martin, Santee, Imel and Tetrick for 35 years and was listed in the publication, Best Lawyers in America, for more than 25 years. He enjoyed outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing, golfing, and gardening. He was a member of Southern Hills Country Club. He is survived by his wife, Courtenay, of 55 years and his beloved children and grandchildren. Daryl F. Southard '57 entered Chapter Eternal on August 22, 2015, as a resident of Tulsa, Okla. He enjoyed a long, successful career that included traveling to 33 countries, all 50 states, seven provinces of Canada, and many moves around the country, while working for Cities Service, Armellini Engineering, and Will Bros Engineering. He treasured time in Colorado, playing golf at Seminole with his brother- in-law, and riding bicycles all over the world. He is survived by his wife of more than 60 years, Carol; brother, Ken; son, Mark; daughter, Christy; grandsons, Ty, Brooks, Ryan, and Chad; great-grandchildren, Haley, Kinsley, McKayla, Caleb, Ariana, Tanner, and Isabella; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. George "Charley" Vestal '58 entered Chapter Eternal on March 30 as a resident of Palisade, Colo. Charley was a proud member of Delta Alpha and graduate from OU's College of Engineering. He enjoyed a rewarding and diverse career. Among his employers were NASA, 3M, and Hitch Ranch. He will be remembered fondly by family, friends, and fraternity brothers. Thomas "Tucker" Harrison '61 entered Chapter Eternal on March 21 as a resident of Bartlesville, Okla. He valued his successful career in advertising and marketing and founded the Vista Group, which served clients such as Phillips 66 and Chevron Phillips. Tucker is survived by his wife of 56 years, Janice Harrison, his three children, and four grandchildren. Alumni News___________________ John A. Blaschke, M.D. '43 formed a brotherhood bond that has lasted 75 years. E. Harrison "Harry" Gilbert '41 was chapter president when John pledged Delta Alpha and they have stayed close ever since, both living in Oklahoma City, Okla. "Harry is 98 and I'm 96. Harold finds fulfilment in building houses with Habitat for Humanity and volunteering with Team Rubicon helping disaster victims. James "Jim" Cloar '62 retired in Tampa, Fla., with his wife, Anne. He spent more than 40 years as a professional downtown planner and manager. Jim is chairman of the Urban Land Institute's Tampa Bay District Council, president of the Henry B. Plant Museum, on the board of directors of the National Civic League, and on the board of commissioners of the Tampa Housing Authority. He plans to visit Cuba this fall. He fills his days living on Grand Lake in Vinita, Okla., golfing, fishing, and riding motorcycles. He also finds time to hunt turkey, deer, and bobwhite quail in western Oklahoma.
