These will be projects that will lighten the chapter advisors' loads without being burdensome to the CAB members. The CAB had its first meeting in August and consists of John Arrowood '11, Austin Kola- kowski '12, Matt Akins '13, Cooper Cadle '15, and London Bulgarelli '16. One such project the CAB intends to put together over the next few years is a mentorship program that matches undergraduates to professional alumni that work in their major or field of interest. Alumni truly want to be involved, but they understand the gravity of mak- ing a commitment. It is sometimes better to say no to a volunteer opportu- nity, than to say yes and not dedicate the time and energy that the opportu- nity requires. By involving more alumni in an advisory board format, we lower those barriers to commitment by providing everyone with smaller workloads. Simultaneously, we strengthen our alumni network and im- prove the undergraduate experience.
