I t has been a big year for Xi Chapter, starting in the spring when the chapter won Best Show plus eight other awards at Rock Chalk Revue. The cast and crew worked very hard to put our show together, and made Rock Chalk Revue history teaming with ADPi to form the first-ever two sorority team. Then for the third year in a row, Xi Chapter received the Out- standing Greek Chapter Award from the KU Office of Sustain- ability for all the work the chapter does on environmental/ sustainability issues. The excitement continued at KU Greek Awards with Sigma Kappa being named the KU Panhellenic Chapter of the Year! With KU's amazing Greek system, this was certainly a big honor for the chapter. This summer at the Sigma Kappa Convention, Xi Chapter received Three Star recognition, Sigma Kappa's most presti- gious award! Whether it's at KU or within Sigma Kappa, these awards are based on the chapter achieving, completing, and exceeding standards. With all this success from the spring and summer, recruitment continued this pattern of achievement. Xi has 81 new mem- bers, 21 of whom are legacies. This is the largest new member class in the last 20 years, and the members are working very hard to help their newest sisters adjust to college life.
