2A Daily News– Wednesday, June 20, 2012 Community people&events Los Molinos seeks 4th of July parade entries Special to the DN Park is coming and this year the theme for the Parade will be Stand Up For Our Flag. The upcoming July 4th Parade and PlayDay in the The Los Molinos Chamber of Commerce is active- ly searching for young people to come and join in the Parade and play at the Playday. The chamber is very proud of the annual Independence Day activities. This is the 45th year; we close down Hwy 99E, the state highway which runs through town, and we hold a parade. Then it's off to the county park for the annual PlayDay in the Park. Talylor were brought to the county jail last night by Constable Jake Gum- ble of Corning and are being held on a charge of grand larceny. All proceeds will help sponsor a shopping trip for local children to shop for new clothing, shoes and backpacks in August. The competition will run through July 17. Farm bureau to host golf tournament The Tehama County Farm Bureau's 5th Annual Fore Education Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, June 30 at Wilcox Oaks Golf Club in Red Bluff begin- ning at 1 p.m. with team registration and a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. The cost to participate is $80 per person, which includes 18 holes of scramble golf, cart and a barbecue dinner. awarded to the 1st-3rd place teams.
