Seeing red • Someone reported to the Red Bluff Police Department seeing a large gathering of subjects wear- ing red near the Red Bluff Community and Senior Center, Thursday afternoon. An officer approached three juveniles, dressed in red, who said they were waiting for some friends to get out of school. Guitar hero • The Red Bluff Police Department helped a pair of friends out Thursday after- noon who were going through a rough patch. An officer thought he was responding to a theft, but it turned out a 51-year-old man just wanted help get- ting his guitar back. The woman who had his guitar was located and returned the property. Hard nap • Cops responded around 5:30 a.m. Wednes- day to the report of a person laying on the tennis courts at Union and Johnson. When approached by an officer, the subject explained they had missed a ride the prior night and had decided to sleep on the ten- nis courts. Wednesday morning they had their check books stolen from their residence on the 1500 block of Walbridge. •A license plate was reported stolen, Wednesday, on the 300 block of Gilmore. • Days Inn staff called the Red Bluff Police Department Wednesday to report the theft of a person who had slept in a room without registering.
