ePsilon chAPter of deltA gAmmA PAge 5 IN MEMORIAM Emily Meek Kleiner '42 passed away on July 19, 2015. She stayed involved with New Jersey members well into her 60s. Tamra Balding '81 passed away in October 2015. ALUMNAE NEWS Polly Shank LeFaivre '47 has lived in North Carolina since 1990, spending winters in Stuart, Fla. She and her late husband, Alvin, moved to Deerfield Retirement Community in 2010, and Al died of pancreatic cancer in 2012. Polly enjoys living there—great friends and much to do. Her son and his wife live in Asheville, and her daughter lives near Charlotte. Moon Mullen Price '49 reports that after doing yoga for 30 years, she decided to take yoga leader training and begin a new career at 84 years young. She wants to help seniors be healthy as they age—learning to breathe, relax, and prevent falls. Moon works out three times a week in the winter with weights, rides her bike on Sanibel, walks one or two miles every day, plays Mahjong and Rummikub, and plays in two golf leagues in the summer. He was a jet pilot in the Air Force for 22 years, and Dolores lived in many areas and two foreign countries. She always met ΔΓs and immediately bonded. Jim retired in 1975 to work for Northrop Corporation, so they moved to Palos Verdes Estates, Calif., and have lived there for 40 years. At first Dolores didn't know anyone, but soon met the wonderful women in the South Bay Alumnae Group. They welcomed her and started long friendships of 40 years. Dolores' two daughters are ΔΓs at UCLA and Santa Barbara. "I pledged ΔΓ for college, never realizing how much it would mean to me after college and all over the world. They were all province alumnae chairmen from 1996-2004, holding cabinet positions. The seven ladies have met in different cities at each other's homes every other year for the past 11 years.
