More than 220 attended the event, including dates and alumni—undergraduate tickets sold out! This year, there were 19 nominees for the Queen of Hearts. Malorie Mullinger, a Chi Omega, was named our 2016 Queen of Hearts, which is a great honor. Malorie is a third-year nursing student from Cincinnati; she held the position of fundraising chairman for Chi Omega and is the University of Cincinnati Dance Marathon morale chairman. Alumni Operations Director Jake Maus '18 Tipp City, Ohio Executive Board A s we close out the first full academic school year in our new home at 321 Joselin, the alumni board turns its focus to continuing to support the undergraduate chapter, its leaders, and its endeavors. We have a strong set of volunteer mentors, led by chapter counselor Brian Tenclinger, Illinois Epsilon '89, who are working with the undergraduate leadership, helping them to be successful. The undergraduates are continuing to settle into the house and are adding their own contributions, including touching up and hanging the old exterior letters in what equated to their old location and adding a flat-screen monitor in the lobby as an electronic communications board. We will hang composites and do some touch-up over the summer in preparation for the 2016-17 school year. As you know, it's been a year since our grand opening celebration and reflecting on that great weekend and in closing out our capital campaign, I am humbled by the support that we received from the 306 donors who helped make the chapter house expansion and renovation a reality. We will be working to close out the campaign in proper fashion and to recognize the generosity of our alumni, their spouses, children, relatives, and friends that contributed. Over the next year, we will continue to expand our alumni programs and outreach, and we look forward to seeing and hearing from you soon. Fraternally, Rey Medina '99 (513) 575-6605 reymedina@hotmail.com Gratitude for Support
