Randy has been fortunate to stay connected
to Gamma Upsilon and the North Carolina
State campus, returning annually for the all-
athlete's reunion and Lambda Chi alumni
events. "I've been very pleased at the rebirth
of our Chapter and the plans for new housing.
Jerry Lassiter, GU 567, John Kanipe, GU
495, and others have really rolled up their
sleeves to make things happen," he said.
After retiring as the chief investment officer
for Huntington National Bank, Randy has
returned to a firm he began in the '80s to work
in public relations. He is scheduled to speak
for Fox Business, CNBC, TheStreet.com, and
will participate in a debate on robotics at the
Cato Institute in Washington. He believes that
all of the business success he has achieved
could not have been feasible without North
Carolina State and Gamma Upsilon.
Randy and his wife, Vicki, live in New
Smyrna, Florida. They have one daughter,
Mary Lindsey, who works in Houston as
a petroleum geologist. Living in Florida,
Randy enjoys water sports and spending time
at the Smyrna Yacht Club, where he serves on
the board of governors. You can connect with
