Some of these are already underway due to the short time between the end of the school year and the beginning of work week. The formal living room is finished and looks wonderful. It is both elegant and appropriate for the young women of Theta Gamma. We started a major landscaping project in the front of the chapter house, with three new trees and the first set of flowers already planted. We have more to add, and this will grow! Our front landscaping should look wonderful for recruitment. We are making great progress on the window replacement and shutter replacement projects. Other major updates to the annex rooms and new furniture for all the rooms are being arranged. House Corporation has several more summer projects planned, but we are still working on funding and timing. We think the women and the alumnae will be thrilled with our summer updates! Thank you for your past donations and for any donations you make this spring. Loyally, Theta Gamma House Corporation Theta Gamma received new trees and landscaping to enhance the appearance of the chapter house. National Panhellenic and National Tri Delta Remove Skit Night from Recruitment P anhellenic at the University of Oklahoma voted to have a no-frills recruitment beginning this fall. This is a National Panhellenic Conference trend and a National Tri Delta trend. This means there will be no skits during recruitment. Our women have always performed great skits, but we will also be great at conversation and making potential new members feel welcome at Theta Gamma. In place of skit night, we are having "DDD, Sweet as Can Be," on Tuesday, August 9, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Please join our chapter for sweets and desserts as we give you a little taste of our values-based recruitment. Daughters, who are 12 and under, are welcome to attend. Besides getting to meet and visit with our wonderful actives, you will get to see the remodeled "annex" and all the summer decorating.
