H H H Sigma star Page 4 I am very excited to update you on the activities the Xi women have been involved in recently! Xi Leaders Bring Back Fresh Ideas Our executive council, two cabinet members, and our advisory board supervisor returned in mid-January from the Regional Leadership Conference that was held in Dallas, Texas. They came back full of fresh ideas and a passion for Sigma Kappa. Rock Chalk Revue Winners This spirit has led us into the start of a very successful year. Most notably, our partnership with the women of Alpha Delta Pi in Rock Chalk Revue earned us seven awards, including an overall win! We were also honored to win the Gold Award for community service. This award is given to the chapter with the most per- member community service hours of all the KU Greek community. Our members appreciate the partnerships with the community organizations we serve and look forward to our continued work with them in the future. I hope that our hard work continues to be recognized by the university as we were selected as finalists for KU Panhellenic Chapter of the Year. Recruitment Remains Strong I am pleased to note that we had a very successful spring recruitment. After spring break we initiated 10 new members. Soon we will begin gearing up for fall formal recruitment. Our recruitment will continue to be values-based as we seek to express to all potential new members what a wonderful sisterhood we have in Sigma Kappa. Thank you very much for all the continued support to our chapter and our sisterhood.
