2 NU NU NU news news news THE BEST IN CLASS RESULTS ARE IN Congratulations to the Classes of 1967 and 1969 T he competitive spirit of Sigma Nu is alive and well as evidenced by the results of the "Best in Class" campaign. Created to raise money for the dining room and back entrance renovation projects, this campaign generated twice the number of donors of our previous annual fundraising efforts. Thank you to everyone who participated, particularly those who donated for the first time. To date, we've raised nearly $20,000 toward the renovations. We will unveil the final decorator recommendations and an updated budget for the overall project at the spring alumni meeting on April 23. And, we'll celebrate the following generous pledge classes as Best in Class: Most Money Donated Winner: Pledge class of 1969 Runners-up: 1967 and 1957 pledge classes Most Members Donating Winner: Pledge class of 1967 Runners-up: 1981 and 1984 pledge classes Overall, 35 pledge classes—dating as far back as 1942—had at least one donor to the campaign. To honor the winning 1969 and 1967 pledge classes, the chapter room composite photos of their initiation years will, from now on, have special gold frames. Join us on April 23 to celebrate the winners, the runners-up, and view the exciting new renovation plans their generosity will make happen.
