MeMberS Add HiStory to new CHApter HouSe Around the Chapter House, we have made a few renovations, including a new crest for our Chapter room made by Will Arpin '16 and members of the Fall 2015 new member class. The large crest, meant to replicate the one that was in the old house, was part of their new member class project. Another improvement, led by Bryan Capps Jr. '13, was the construction of a new countertop in the multipurpose room for use at game days and alumni events. The top is covered with pictures, pins, and memorabilia from brothers that dates back to the founding of our Chapter, creating a timeline of our history. tHetA CHi MAkeS A differenCe in tHe CoMMunity Outside of the Chapter, our brothers have recently been reaching out to the community through service. For our first community service event of the semester, we paired with Alpha Chi Omega to help renovate an old building downtown as part of Gainesville's "Keep Alachua County Beautiful" campaign. This year, we also have a large number of brothers participating in Dance Marathon, a non-profit organization that has raised more than $3 million dollars for the kids of Shands Hospital. We boast nine captains, one overall director, and more than 20 dancers. CHApter welCoMeS 24 new MeMberS in Spring SeMeSter We had a successful recruitment this past Fall and initiated 15 new members. This, along with our Spring pledge class of more than 20 men, has brought a huge wave of increased energy throughout the Chapter. We are eager to see the great things that these new members will accomplish. AluMni, Join uS for tHe CentenniAl CelebrAtion Alumni, thank you for your support and guidance. We would not be the Chapter we are today if it weren't for the example you have set. With the Centennial right around the corner, we have never been more proud to be brothers of Theta Chi.
