I consider it a tremendous honor to serve the business members of Fayetteville and Cumberland County. Over the past 8 months, I've worked with the past Chairman and others on the Chamber 2025 Task Force and various committees to help develop a vision moving forward in 2016. The mission of the Chamber is being re-focused for the business advocacy of our membership and to be the voice for businesses moving forward. I'm very pleased with the selection of our new President and CEO, Rodney Anderson, and feel Rodney and I both have the capability, knowledge and desire to make our Chamber Strong! We want to instill the Core Values of Integrity, Innovation and Inspiration to our team and for our community. A key area of focus as we move forward will be to bring benefit to our membership. We will also make it a mission to listen to the membership on the issues during the first month of the year, as we focus on our membership recruiting and events. We're going to put together a forum to collect issues from the body and structure a process to provide an action plan moving forward. When this request comes to you, please provide good, candid feedback. We want to be the advocate of choice and deliver the service you deserve! Lastly, I want to thank the previous Chairman, George Breece for his leadership and oversight for starting our change. In closing, I'm very excited to lead the team forward into 2016 and I look forward to a year of success, growth and the reestablishment of the Greater Fayetteville Chamber being YOUR Business Advocate.
