FALL 2015
O
ctober 11-17, the women of Gamma Zeta enjoyed a very fun
Homecoming experience with the men of Delta Upsilon and Pi
Kappa Phi fraternities in order to take part in the 100th annual
Kansas State University Homecoming celebration!
Students were given the century of the 1900s to base their themes on, so
the chapter chose the first World Series, which was in 1903, to be their
theme. The chapter participated in Pant the Chant, Wildcat Request Live,
Paint the 'Ville (a spirit sign competition), the children's carnival, and the
parade. We had a wonderful time getting to know our fellow pairings and
had a blast celebrating KSU Homecoming's centennial year!
We would like to thank Elle McAlister '14 for being the Homecoming
chairman this year, as well as all of the other day heads for Homecoming,
including Lizzie Penton '14, Kylie Wilcox '14, Sarah Cauffield '13,
Michelle Harper '13, Sam VanLerberg '14, Kaitlin Martin '14,
Hannah Ediger '13, Breanna Hill '14, and Shelby Matthews '14, for
all of their hard work, time, and dedication to this event. Thank you also
to the men of Delta Upsilon and Pi Kappa Phi for being outstanding
pairings, and for helping this to be a successful
experience!
