TAU TALK ALPHA TAU OMEGA AT IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY CHAPTER ETERNAL Leland L. Huss '40 entered Chapter Eternal on May 11. He was employed by Meredith Publishing for 45 years, retiring in 1984. Leland was a great bowler and bowled every week for 40 years. He attended the state tournament with his bowling team. Leland was also a woodcarver and a lifelong stamp collector. He loved to travel with his wife, Louise, and had a pen pal in Sweden for 70 years. Leland is survived by his daughter, Susan; grandchildren, Brad and Beth; five great-granddaughters; two step-great-granddaughters; and one great-great-granddaughter; as well as numerous family and friends. ALUMNI NEWS Stanley E. Blinks '46 recalls riding the train from Oklahoma to Iowa in 1945 to see the ATW house that his father was a part of. He celebrated his 87th birthday earlier this year. Stan lives in Chehalis, Wash. Charles W. Duncan '52 is retired and lives in Round Rock, Texas.
