RENOVATIONS
A HIT AT HOMECOMING
Your Pledges Begin to Transform Alpha Chapter
A
lumni from the 1940s through the 2010s who returned to Alpha for
Reunion and Homecoming Weekend were amazed at the makeover of
the chapter house public spaces and the quality and detail of the renovations
completed. We had presented a plan to you to refurbish 1490 Sage Avenue
to not just be on par with other campus housing options, but to place it
at a competitive advantage. Many responded with generous pledges and
donations. We've spent the past year demonstrating what we can do with
the funds you have entrusted to us and have delivered. You will undoubtedly
hear great feedback from your contemporary brothers who joined us for the
festivities in October. Please join us this April at 6294 to see for yourself.
Take the time to look at the pictures, talk to your brothers, and experience
for yourself the game-changing work underway.
BROTHERS, JOIN THE CAMPAIGN TODAY!
Approximately 200 alumni who historically donated to our annual fund
for parts of the past 10 years (before the capital campaign started) have
not yet thrown their support behind this worthwhile effort. Thank you for
your previous support. The time has come for you to join your brothers
who have committed to this effort with your pledge and your first donation.
We've delivered on our promise with the quality and impact of the first
phase of renovations. The active chapter has delivered with continued
strong grades, campus and community involvement, and tremendous
membership numbers—including the 17 new associate members inducted
at Homecoming. We're approaching the fundraising level that will allow us
to complete the renovation. It's up to you how quickly and how completely
we will finish transforming our house. Projects will be completed over
