Today, other chapters have invested in their properties and those investments at- tract the best. In order for us to attract the best, the Phi lodge needs this renovation." John knows this campaign will allow MO Alpha to carry on its tradition of greatness for another 150 years. "This renovation is the first step to reclaiming the top fraternity spot on campus. As one of the oldest fra- ternities west of the Mississippi, all current and former brothers owe it to those who will follow to leave this house better than when we lived in it." Living in Ohio has exposed John to the leaders who work at General Headquarters in Oxford, Ohio. "General Headquarters is impressed with the caliber of leadership on this campaign, but more impressed with the quality, dedication, and responsibility that our current house corporation advisory board is taking in leading the campaign. I am 100 percent confident that my contri- bution is being thoughtfully deployed." In his free time, John enjoys spending time with his children. His son, Jack, is a golf- er at Iowa State, and his daughter, Payton, is an accomplished equestrian jumper who will attend Missouri next year. His son, Blair, is a sophomore in high school and is a huge Tiger fan and hopeful future Phi Delt at Mizzou. Reach out to John via e-mail at jlc9801@aol.com.
