The Shasta College Economic Workforce and Development division is offering three fitness class- es beginning in late March, all taught by Shasta Col- lege instructor Rhonda Nelson. Each class costs $39. We will be removing the faux brick on the old Italian restaurant. Some sanding will most likely be needed, perhaps some putty work, and prep for paint. We also have come back to the book store idea for a store front. We need a back- drop. Ideas are welcome. The cheapest idea so far is to gather old flat sheets and dye them. So please, send ideas or send old sheets :) Let's plan to meet at 9 a.m. Please email me back if you can make it so we know how many will be attending. So far, we have five bags of books. Some were donated by the Library (old titles), Friends of Library** (sub quality that can't be sold at book sale), and some from the schools possible (old texts). We need some accessories and furniture if anybody can spare some pieces. April 21 is Earth Day weekend. We will meet at Linnet's Tires at 9 a.m. and work on trash pick-up to start off the campaign for all of Corning to pick up our trash. • Relay For Life – Corning's first Relay For Life will be April 28 and there is a need for more sponsors and teams.
