An Amazing Start to Another
Exciting Semester at UA
D
elta Mu's fall semester got off to an exciting start with this
year's recruitment adding 130 new members to our Chapter.
Our new pledge class included 31 women with a GPA higher than
4.0, Presidential Scholars, National Merit Scholars, 32 Tri Delta
legacies, SGA officers, Homecoming court representatives, and varsity
lettermen and state champions in a variety of sports. We are incredibly
proud of this diverse group and the impact they will have in all areas
of campus life.
After Bid Day, we jumped right into a busy semester full of sisterhood
events, philanthropic activities, and socials. On October 24, we
are excited to host our third annual Gameday Giveback before the
University of Tennessee game to raise money for St. Jude. We would
love to see you at this fun event. We also had our first-ever officer
retreat this year at Red Mountain Park. We spent the entire day zip
lining and rock climbing, and stayed the night in Birmingham. We
also look forward to initiation and Homecoming later in the semester.
It is such an exciting time to be a Delta Mu at the University of
Alabama as we celebrate our 100th year. We are incredibly proud
of the strong tradition we have at The Capstone, and we have our
incredible alumnae to thank for their continued support. We look
forward to seeing all of you soon!
