Over the last six months our Chamber has reinvented
itself with the Chamber Task Force 2025 report, has
launched a new brand and name, has selected a
new CEO & President to lead our Chamber, and has
rekindled a spirit of engagement from our board and
members. It is truly a great time to be part of the
dedicated Board of Directors that have committed
to making our Chamber a better organization. I am
extremely proud and honored to be the Chairman at
this critical time for our Chamber.
With the announcement of our new CEO & President this month a new era
begins for the Chamber. This is now a time of renewed focus on business
advocacy and business growth for our members. This focus will create a
pathway for the Chamber to demonstrate business leadership and regain
the voice of business. You will see updated programs and the creation of
enhanced outreach plans that demonstrate relevance and value to our
members and provide a tangible impact. We will strive to build a membership
engagement model that attracts new members as well as nurtures the
existing ones. Our Chamber will once again become the "convener" and
demonstrate independent leadership that brings voices together in our
community toward causes that are important to the business community, the
community as a whole, the Chamber, and its members.
