Give our loved one just one more day. Please dear Lord just wait until tomorrow. But four Angles come down and sat where you lay. One to guide you, one to guard you and two to carry you away. Now your pain is gone and you're at peace. Your soul has departed and your body just went to sleep. I know you're now looking down on us as your depar- ture is a very sad day, but I almost smile for I can hear you laugh as you grin and say: my silly family, I am in a better place so wipe your tears away. Let there be love and laughter and no more sorrow, for we will all be together again in the to- morrow. Police Reports See Page 3B Everyday Cheapskate See Page 2A The previous FBO only made a profit from selling fuel, but Cardan has a business at the airport that allows workers to go between the airport and the shop. Workers aren't sitting around with nothing to do when there are no aircraft to fuel, Jaharis said. Cardan is an aircraft painting, interior and maintenance business that known for aircraft repairs. Cardan received the contract after a nearly year-long search by the city. The company's propos- al to sell gas at a break even price is one of the reasons the city wanted to contract with Cardan, Public Works Director Mark Barthel said. In the long run it could mean increased airport revenue. The company wants to bring people to the city, have them spend their money here and create revenue for the communi- ty, Jaharis said. "The aviation commu- nity is actually very small and word gets around, so when someone comes here and they have a good experience they will tell other people about it," Jaharis said. ——— Tang Lor can be reached at 527-2153, Ext. 110 or by e-mail at tlor@redbluffdai- lynews.com. Continued from page 1A FLIES A gunsmith and competitor, Sanders has been involved in the world of shoot- ing for 60 years. He is hoping to get enough partici- pants at the clinic from county high schools to start a Scholastic Clay Target Program club through Scholastic Shoot- ing Sport Foundation. The goals of the club are to teach safe and responsible handling and use of firearms, provide a supportive team- based environment and introduce youth to a sport that can be enjoyed for a life- time and offers a level playing field, Sanders said. The state has five clubs, which require the same grades of students needed to play any of the normal sports at their schools, competing. If enough interest is found in Tehama County, shooting events would be held either Saturdays or Sundays depending upon what day is preferred by team members. While practices could be local, com- petitions would not as there is not a range big enough in the county, Sanders said. For competition, ranges must have at least five trap shooting stations and teams would most likely compete in the Sacramento and Stockton areas, he said. Sanders said community support, with several sponsors lined up already, has been wonderful. Sponsors for the upcoming shoot include Wayne Murphy, Professional Medical Billing Inc., Red Bluff Auto Electric, George Growney Motors, Bruce Lindauer, Al Keller, Rolling Hills Casino and Tehama Shooters Associa- tion. Loaner shotguns will be available. Preregistration is desired, but not required. There is only enough ammuni- tion for 50 participants and preference will be given to those who have prereg- istered. For information or to register call 529-2343. Information of the Scholastic Shoot- ing Sport Foundation can be found online at www.sssfonline.org. Continued from page 1A CLINICS
