We have a great semester ahead full of fun sisterhoods, community service events, and philanthropies. CHAPTER/MEMBER AWARDS We had a successful year as a chapter and were recognized multiple times at convention and had individuals acknowledged. Our exciting news to share is that Rho Chapter was named Chapter of the Year at AEPhi National Convention! We are all thrilled to be recognized with such an honor and look forward to seeing all of the amazing things this chapter continues to do. We were also recognized as a five pearl chapter, took third place in community service, and took first place for social media. Former Vice President of Recruitment Taylor Exner '13 received the Irma Loeb Scholarship and another member, Zoe Smith '13, was named to the Collegiate Advisory Committee. At the Ohio State Greek Awards dinner, we were recognized as the Greek Week winners, along with outstanding philanthropy, outstanding recruitment, outstanding diversity/intergroup relations, outstanding senior, and most improved chapter. ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS In the spring, we ranked 10th overall in the Greek community with an all-member cumulative 3.37 GPA. We began more frequent study tables and encouraged all members, including the new member class, to help organize them to ensure everyone could attend. PHILANTHROPIC HEARTS On March 29, we hosted our annual Phi Trotters basketball tournament to support Sharsharet. We raised more than $2,000 and had more participants than ever before! We were recognized as a top chapter with community service and received the third place community service award at convention. RECRUITMENT Spring recruitment was an incredible success. Rho Chapter attained quota plus one, initiating 57 women. We did continuous open bidding with three women to hit Ohio State total. Rho Chapter was delighted by the way our recruitment process went this year and hope to implement the same strategies next year, along with introducing some new ideas because the size of our chapter is growing.
