The most significant were a new kitchen hood system and updated heating system upstairs. This included cleaning out the heating ducts and replacing some thermostats and valves. A big thank-you to Caroline Greenlee '12 and Ashea Hiatt '13 for painting the radiator covers! Other projects included new window blinds in the foyer and a flat-screen television in the dining room to be used for chapter presentations. BE A GAMMA ZETA VOLUNTEER! The House Corporation is always looking for volunteers. The board meets approximately six times per year at the Gamma Zeta house. If you are interested in attending a meeting and/or joining the board, please contact me. I'm eager to get back to Manhattan for Polish Week and recruitment, and I'm sure the other women feel just the same. Our vice president of recruitment, Lexi Belzer '13, and her team are doing a magnificent job perfecting all of the details for those eagerly anticipated two weeks. We can't wait to welcome the women of pledge class '15! Being president of Gamma Zeta has been a joyous adventure. I've loved serving the women of Gamma Zeta and gaining a holistic view of Alpha Chi Omega after visiting headquarters and even meeting some of you. Alpha Chi Omega is much more than 1835 Todd Road and I'm grateful to be a part of it. This past semester, it was a joy leading the executive board, watching them blossom into the leaders they are today, and being a part of the advancement of our chapter. This upcoming fall semester, we're eager to hit the ground running with a successful recruitment, all-chapter weekend retreat, Dad's Weekend, Homecoming, and much more. We'd love for you to visit us again in October for initiation and tailgating, and we're looking forward to hearing about your sweet Alpha Chi memories!
