Jeanne Petracek Hoskins '51 has started
a group of knitters who knit baby hats for
newborns and caps for children with cancer. She
and her husband, Herb, live in Highlands Ranch,
Colo., and have two sons, Rich and Ron.
Sandra Radotinsky Doane '56 moved to
Devon, Pa., to be near her son and his family
after her husband, Lloyd, passed away. She has
two grandsons, Harrison (15) and Charlie (13).
Living in the east is a big change after 50 years
in Kansas.
Mary Stoskopf Fetherston '61 and her husband,
John, have three children and nine grandchildren.
They will celebrate their 50th anniversary this

Barbara Van Zandt Haase '71 lives in the Los
Angeles area working as a patternmaker in the
garment industry. She and her husband, Marty,
have two children, Michael and Alesha. The couple
enjoys spending their weekends traveling with their
"RV friends" up and down the west coast. Barbara
still wears purple and supports K-State on game
days. She visited campus a few years ago during
Christmas break and peeked in the windows of
the chapter house. "A lot has changed since I lived

Karen Schmidt '81 became the executive
director of Women's Initiative Network (WIN)
in 2011. WIN is a non-profit that serves
women survivors of domestic abuse. She and
her husband, Trace, have two sons who are
attending K-State. Aaron is getting a master's
degree in mechanical engineering and Dalton is
working on a bachelor's degree in construction

amma Zeta is excited for another successful formal recruitment in 2015! The number
of women choosing to participate in formal recruitment at Kansas State University
continues to increase, and Gamma Zeta is adapting well to this growth. Polish Week
runs August 11-16. Formal recruitment begins on August 17 and concludes with Preference and
Bid Night on Friday, August 21.
