s Chapter president, one of my main goals is to strengthen the
connection throughout our brotherhood. I strive to instill growth in
the Chapter so that upon graduation, brothers leave feeling like they have
really accomplished something and had a great time along the way. I work
with the executive board to brainstorm ways to improve the Chapter, some
of which have already been put to action. Just a few examples include a
great number of old composites dating back to 1952 have recently been
rehung throughout the house, the deck on the side of the house has been
refinished, and we are planning to repaint several areas of the house this
summer. We held a skeet shoot at the end of May to kick recruitment off
for the summer. Other plans are in place to have an alumni weekend during
a home game this fall. A big focus of mine is working alongside IFC and
nationals to ensure that we are doing everything needed to keep our many
great traditions alive.
As always, we encourage alumni to stop by the Chapter
House whenever you're in town.
