The Lion's Roar Indiana Delta Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon • Depauw University SPRING 2015 INDIANA DELTA EMBRACES TRUE GENTLEMAN EXPERIENCE Members Develop Lasting Bonds at SAE R ecruitment for 2015 is over and 19 new members have joined the ranks of Sigma Alpha Epsilon with Indiana Delta at DePauw University. Since recruitment requirements cap a class at 22, this was a very satisfying accomplishment for the gentlemen of SAE. Considering that the chapter has gone through some dramatic changes in regard to the True Gentleman Experience, a major house remodel, and several other challenges, they are showing their resolve at a time in their lives when many would choose to take a more easily traveled path. Hearing it directly from some of these new brothers says it all: • "Since I joined SAE I have been inspired to work on my own character as inspired by the brothers in the house and the True Gentleman itself. Without a doubt, I made the right choice during recruitment. Nowhere would I find brothers that would challenge me to succeed in my musical and per- sonal endeavors than at Sigma Alpha Epsilon." –Nathaniel Sprague '19 • "Since joining Sigma Alpha Epsilon, I have met many new people and created bonds that will last a lifetime. SAE has given me a place where I am always welcome. It is my home." –Mo Hussain '19 • "I joined SAE because I felt it was conducive to my academic career, social relationships, and spiritual health. My relation- ships formed through SAE will benefit me for a lifetime." –Ish Sylla '19 • "On bid night, I walked in through the doors with friends, acquaintances, and even some strangers. Slowly through house events, some late nights of smash, or even house cleaning duties that we shared together, I have forged ever- lasting relationships with some gentlemen that I am proud to call brothers." –Jonathan Pai '19 • "I joined SAE because of the living conditions of the house, the ambition of my recruitment class, and because of the lead- ership opportunities provided here." –Teague Hampton '19 Recruiting new brothers each year is the lifeblood of SAE chapters across the nation. I commend all of the chapter members and alumni for their efforts during recruitment and challenge them to keep every new person you meet in mind as a potential new brother. Brotherhood is not just an annual event; it is every day of your life. Please give a hearty Phi Alpha welcome to the new brothers of Sigma Alpha Epsilon at Indiana Delta listed on page 3.
