Andrews '78 is many things to many people. You may know him from college as a varsity lacrosse player, as Bongo from his days as a Harrier jet pilot, or as a successful entrepreneur following his years of service to the U.S. Marine Corps. Kyle is all of these and much more. Kyle was very active in college, more so than most of us were during our days at Ohio Delta. He enjoyed competitive sports, working odd jobs to pay for tuition, and spending all of his free time with his Fraternity brothers. Following graduation, Kyle served our country proudly as a Harrier jet pilot. He has seen many amazing places from a bird's- eye view, and some of his stories will blow your mind. One story in particular includes a flight when Kyle flew Brigadier General Chuck Yeager to an anniversary celebration of breaking the sound barrier. Brother Andrews was instrumental in the early stages of the Ohio Delta capital campaign. He was an era leader, drumming up support and encouraging brothers from his generation to contribute to the campaign. If you have ever had a conversation with Kyle, you can imagine how convincing he must have been to get others to join the campaign. Kyle has been the Chapter advisor since 2011, when he was recruited by House Corporation President Gordon Gough '97 to focus his time on working with the undergraduates directly. The advisor job is perfectly suited to Kyle's open-minded leadership style. For the last five academic years, he has been a fixture at Monday dinners and Chapter meetings. Kyle seizes every opportunity to meet a new member or encourage a brother to take a leadership role in the Chapter. We are all appreciative of Kyle's girlfriend, Susan Holcomb, for her understanding and patience while Kyle spends his time with the men of Ohio Delta. Kyle also serves on the Ohio Delta Scholarship Committee. The committee is charged with the amazing opportunity of evaluating the undergraduate applicants each summer and allocating $100,000 in scholarship funds to the deserving members. Kyle takes the job seriously, knowing that the scholarships were made possible by the generosity of his brothers. A man with many passions, when not at the Fraternity Kyle is either coaching lacrosse at St. Charles preparatory high school in Bexley or playing hockey in a recreational league with friends. He also finds time to meet up with a group of Ohio Deltans for group road bike rides. Kyle is also an investor in a local brewery, which is his excuse for spending time drinking beer in a warehouse by the airport. Kyle resides in Upper Arlington, Ohio, and is a co-owner of Pretium Partners. You can contact him by e-mail at kandrews@ pretiumpartners.com. K • The University's health system now accounts for more than half of the University's annual $4.4 billion in revenue. The announcement was made by Chief Financial Officer Geoff Chatas. Geoff said that the medical functions are growing faster than the rest of the "Enterprise" (OSU). Mr. Chatas also orchestrated the 50-year lease of all the Enterprise's parking facilities to a private operator, partly why the Friday lunch is no longer at the Fawcett Center. • The firm leasing the Enterprise's parking for 50 years and $483 million is LAZ Parking. It is also managing the Columbus Commons parking facilities and is reportedly the third largest parking management firm in the country. • The search firm hired to find the Enterprise's new president was paid $600,000. The president of Cornell was reportedly not interested. Dr. Michael V. Drake was hired from the University of California-Irvine. sTaTisTics aT The universiTy Chapter Eternal From The Shield Robert C.
