Commissioners Elect Faircloth Chairman, Keefe Vice Chairman
he Cumberland County Board of Commissioners unanimously elected Marshall Faircloth to serve as its new chairman and Jimmy Keefe as vice chairman at the Dec. 5 meeting of the board of commissioners. After serving as vice
chairman for a year, Faircloth accepted the chairman's seat from outgoing chairman Kenneth Edge. Faircloth is a native of Cumberland County and graduated from Accountant who has also served as chairman of the county board of education and was a county commissioner from 1993 to 1996.
