O ur chapter is proud to have earned the number one GPA among all sororities on campus last fall. We have started using a new system that makes it easier for members to log their study hours, which has been a great help. Study teams have also been implemented to introduce a fun, competitive aspect to our academic programming by splitting up the chapter into four teams and competing to see which team has the most study hours logged at the end of the semester. We hope that these programs will continue to encourage academic excellence in our chapter and help us maintain the top sorority GPA this spring! Staying Connected We hosted our first Alumnae Weekend this March and welcomed several alumnae back to our chapter. We started the weekend with a dessert bar at the house on Friday night, followed by a lunch on Saturday, and brunch on Sunday. It was so nice to catch up with the alumnae who attended, and we hope to have another event like this in the future. We now have Facebook and LinkedIn groups for our alumnae to stay connected. See page 2 for a full list of our social media sites. We hope to see all of our alumnae back at the house soon. A Strong Sisterhood Our chapter has been providing more sisterhood events than ever this semester. Whether it is weekly yoga and belly dancing classes, holiday parties, crafting, or baking with Hillel, our members come together on a regular basis to have fun and spend time with one another. Not only do sisters come together to participate in events organized by AEPhi, but they also come together to support one another. Many of our members are involved in different organizations on campus, and our Support Your Sister initiative allows members to make any fundraiser, performance, or event that they are involved in a sisterhood event. All of these events have brought our chapter closer together and strengthened the strong bonds of sisterhood that we take pride in. Focusing on Philanthropy Mu Chapter has emphasized its dedication to philanthropy this semester. Members participate in philanthropy events hosted by other chapters on campus throughout the year, such as fundraising dinners and athletic competitions. These events allow our members to give back and support the campus community. Our chapter's spring philanthropy event will be in April and will be raising money for the Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric AIDS Foundation. We will be hosting a relay race event called SurPHIvor, where teams participate in a variety of activities to earn points for their team. Our chapter is looking forward to this event and can't wait to bring the campus community together to support EGPAF.
