Gamma Lambda Continues to Thrive
Chapter Succeeds in Academics, Philanthropy, and Campus Involvement
T
he fall semester was a huge success for the men of Gamma Lambda.
The members continued the tradition of success in all categories.
For the third semester in a row, the chapter placed first in grades with an
overall GPA of 3.37. Members placed first with a 3.43 and the pledge class
achieved third with a 3.29.
For the first time since 2009, the chapter participated in Homecoming
sweepstakes, placing first in the float competition. We also continued our
athletic success by placing fourth in football frenzy.
Our commitment to philanthropy did not falter. We had David Lee Murphy
headline our concert as we raised money for the Well's Project, as well as
Delta Delta Delta's philanthropy recipient, St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Our newest pledge class, the Alpha Alphas, tasted success not only in
grades but also in Freshman Follies. They were paired with the women of
Kappa Delta and placed third.
These accolades, along with the tradition of strong member involvement
on campus, have created a reputation for Beta as being the best fraternity
on campus.
We know that the success we have today would not be possible without
those who came before us. I encourage you to come by the house and see
how your efforts have helped Beta remain the top chapter at Oklahoma
State.
