Katz '54 is involved in a stock club she organized quite a few years ago and goes to Sarasota, Fla., every winter. She has three daughters and one great-granddaughter. Two of her daughters were AEPhis at Ohio State. "Living in Columbus is the best of all worlds," Sandy said. "We are always at Ohio State University and my husband, Alan, is extremely involved in the College of Pharmacy." The couple has been married for 56 years. She was awarded a doctoral degree in 2006 from UMass-Lowell and does adjunct teaching at various colleges and universities in Massachusetts. Susan is also hula dancing at nearly age 70.
