The chapter members and House Corporation have lots of exciting updates to share with you, and I hope you enjoy them. The House Corporation is pleased to let you know that the chapter house room addition and fire suppression system were both completed in October. The chapter members are enjoying their new space, and we are so fortunate to have a large enough room for our chapter of 176 to meet, as many chapters at Ohio State now have to hold meetings on campus. Once spring arrives, the chapter will also be able to enjoy the patio on the roof of the addition. Our alumnae brunch was held on November 2, during which our room addition was dedicated. The alumnae in attendance included chapter recolonist Robin Stromberg Rood '76, which had a special meaning as we celebrated the accomplishments of our chapter. We hope that even more alumnae can join us for the next event, a casual brunch at the house prior to the spring football scrimmage on April 18. The chapter will be sending invitations soon. Please let us know if you would like to assist in planning the next event or serving as a class liaison. Special thanks to Julie Silver Manning '79 and Esther Feuerwerker Weisman '81 for their help in making the weekend a success, and the chapter members for welcoming all of the alumnae back to the house! As we look toward the important and major needs for the chapter house, we will share the information with you. The House Corporation will also update you on opportunities to assist in our efforts to keep the chapter house a safe, well-appointed, and modern home for our members for many years to come. Please remember to send in your updates so we can share your news in the next newsletter! We had returned for the alumnae brunch and dedication of the beautiful new room at the house in November. The room was much needed as the active chapter has now grown to more than 170 members. About 20 of us from the late '70s to early '80s celebrated with a party at the Athletic Club of Columbus the night before. Thanks to Esther Feuerwerker Wiseman '81 for planning! We were joined by two of our chapter advisers and laughed as we retold stories of our college days. Sunday morning, we joined other alumnae and chapter members for a fabulous brunch and room dedication, at which we installed a beautiful mezuzah with Rabbi Feivel Strauss from Hillel. The mezuzah was generously donated by Julie Silver Manning '79 and her daughter, Molly Manning '13.
