With your support we've completed and funded the interior renovation. We are extremely grateful for your support—you make a huge difference! No words can describe or adequately portray the overall improved condition and appearance of the house. Phi Delts now living in the house, and those who will come later, can be proud of their Iowa Gamma home and will have more incentive than ever to take great care of it. Our multi-phase project has one primary phase remaining, the exterior renovation. If you think about it, the exterior of the Phi Delt house is really the first impression we make on anyone visiting the chapter house. It is imperative that we complete this part of the project and represent the pride we have in our fraternity with a top-quality facility inside and out. However, we must have more funds to complete this task. We set out to raise $1.5 million and we need to reach that goal. We hope that by this summer Iowa Gamma's alumni, members, and friends will have pledged or contributed the remaining $362,635 to pay for the exterior renovation. This is the last phase of the project and we need your continued help to reach a successful conclusion. We do want to remind those of you with pledges that it is still very important for you to continue your pledge payments as we are relying on that cash flow. This summer we will start on our donor wall. This will be an impressive listing of all those who have pledged $3,000 or more to this capital campaign. Be sure you get your name on the wall by making a pledge of at least $3,000 by May 31. Remember, you can set up a five-year pledge using the enclosed pledge form or even a monthly pledge by visiting www.iowastatephis. com. I owa State Dance Marathon has been helping children with life-threatening illnesses for 18 years, providing financial and emotional support to hundreds of families across Iowa. All of the money raised is given directly to University of Iowa Children's Hospital through Children's Miracle Network. For the first time this year, Iowa State Dance Marathon was split into two 12-hour shifts from 7 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday. At this event, the participants (dancers) chose to attend their specific shift and then stood for 12 hours to symbolize support for the families who spend countless hours in hospital waiting rooms. Participants of the event play games with the kids and their families and even do a little bit of dancing! Members have fun raising money for Children's Miracle Network at Iowa State Dance Marathon.
