He has served as an adjunct instructor at OSU for the Spears School of Business since 2004, and served as the vice president for business and industry relations for OSU for two years. Mac earned his bachelor's degree in insurance from OSU in 1971. He continued his education and earned a master's degree in leisure services administration and managements and a doctorate degree in education administration with an emphasis in health science. Mac has earned several awards and honors in addition to being named a Significant Sig, including Air Force achievement medal (1990), Air Force commendation medal (1989), Air Force meritorious service medal (1995), Sigma Chi outstanding service award (1990), and the Sigma Chi Grand Consul's Citation (1989). He lives in Oklahoma City with his wife, Dana. Send Mac your congratulations by emailing him at mac.mccrory@cox.net. Jay L. Helm '70 shares that his real passion is— and always will be—Oklahoma State University. He has been an instrumental leader for OSU while serving on the OSU/A&M Board of Regents for nearly 13 years and on the Board of Trustees for OSU-Tulsa from 1999 to 2013. Currently, Jay is the president and CEO of American Residential Group Ltd. He was recognized among the Spears School Tributes: 100 for 100 during the 100th anniversary celebration of the school. "I can say the business school made a difference in my life and made a difference in how to approach business. I enjoy my job and my work but I also like spending time on charitable organizations. I call that my OSU time. I'm trying to make a difference for OSU, and hopefully I'm doing that in my own way," he shared. Jay lives in Tulsa, Okla. You may reach him at jay@argtulsa.com. Dr. Kenneth E. Case '66 was named a Significant Sig in 2014. He is regent's professor emeritus at OSU and is regarded as one the top industrial engineers in the world. Ken holds three degrees from OSU and has taught at both OSU and Virginia Polytechnic Institute. His crowning achievement has been his visionary leadership in developing the Master of Science and Engineering Program at OSU. Ken was honored with the Lohmann Medal from the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology in 2013. This award is considered the college's highest honor for distinguished graduates. The Melvin R. Lohmann Medal was established in 1991 to recognize graduates who have made outstanding contributions to the profession or education of engineers, architects, or technologists. Ken lives in Stillwater, Okla., with his wife, Lynn. You may contact him at ken.case@okstate.edu. Congratulations, Significant Sigs! O nce again, the Gamma Delta Chapter is thrilled to announce that three more of our alumni have been selected for the prestigious honor of being named Significant Sigs. This year, the Gamma Delta honorees have made it a priority to serve the university and give back as much as it gave them in their most formative years. We encourage ourselves and the rest of our alumni to learn from their example and stay involved with Gamma Delta and OSU. For more information about this prestigious award, visit the National Fraternity website: www.sigmachi.org. T he Gamma Delta Chapter of Sigma Chi has been very busy this semester.
