Main St. Bright Pink Building (across from McDonald's) 1198 W. Main, Quartzsite (across from Pilot) 928-927-DEAL (3325) "ADDICTED TO DEALS" TOO The Hi Jolly Cemetery Board, Town of Quartzsite, presents a unique and special Spirit Walk at Hi Jolly Cemetery. There will be 17 dearly departed gravesites that have been selected, researched and showcased on this historical "Spirit Walk" at the Hi Jolly Cemetery. The volunteer actors and actresses received a scripted biography of one of the chosen pioneers and then add their own research, props and personality to the character. This free historic walk is an event that will be filled with fun and "Spirits" for the whole family. These tales of our unique pioneers offer insight into the early days of Quartzsite- the why and how they got here- where they came from and how they lived and died. For more information contact Dinice Spirit Walk 2011 Sat. Oct. 29th from 3pm -6pm At the Hi Jolly Cemetery, Pioneer Section, Quartzsite, AZ Ross at 928-927-6593. The QCB Thank you Bash was again a very successful event. As with any event it would not have been possible without the support of a whole lot of volunteers and Sponsors. I would like to thank the Quartzsite Rotary Club for hosting the event. I would also like to thank VFW Post 769 for sponsoring Friday evening's concert. Without those 2 organizations we would have not been able to hold the event. A huge thank you to the Town of Quartzsite and our amazing park guys for all their hard work prior to, during, and afterwards. Jessie Pettigrew, Timber Tuckness and The Alford Family were incredible bringing in the stock and arena and putting on an amazing bull ride. It was so neat to see our local kids have an opportunity to take part in actual rodeo events. Also, Josie Sam, Little Miss Dudette for La Paz County, led the Pledge of Allegiance while the colors were presented by the local VFW Post 769 Honor Guard in conjunction with the Boy Scouts. Also, thank you to the Harry Luge Band. Harry was as awesome as ever. Putting on 2 incredible shows, he is truly an entertainer. I can't wait to have him back again next year!
