Sign up today for the Business Expo Last Thursday Da- vis and Milenka Vargas of Condor Marka hosted the monthly Corning in the Evening get together. There were more than 35 attendees who enjoyed homemade delicacies made by Milenka that were both delicious and attractive. Davis explained what Peruvian food is like for those who have never tried Peruvian food before. It is a really a combination of several countries including Spain, Japan, China and of course, the Inca Indians. It is quite different than Mexican, although they do have pork tamales, which are similar to the Mexican tamales. Later Davis took those who were interested next door to see the work that has been done to the build- ing. Even though much has gone into the build- ing, such as new roof and floor, there is still more to be done and they are tak- ing it slow. We look for- ward to when it will be complete because it will be an improvement to the downtown area and will bring more people down- town.
