Alumni Update
I
enjoyed the 60th anniversary Sweetheart Ball
and witnessed the love and passion we all
enjoy for our Chapter. I knew we had a lot of
special brothers, but not even I predicted to
meet so many men of such great character. It is
in that spirit that we will start having an alumni
luncheon every other month.
Please add to your calendars the following
dates: every second day of the week (Tuesday),
second week of the month, starting with the
second month of the year (February, April,
June, August, October, and December) at
noon. Our first gathering was held on October
14 at The Half Shell Mendenhall. Attendees
enjoyed fellowship, an update on the Legacy
of Excellence capital campaign, and a guest
speaker from the university.
In addition to the ongoing luncheons, we hope
you'll join us at these upcoming events:
November 7 – Alumni Social
YB Normal at Newby's. This is not an official
event, but several brothers are meeting at the
house and walking to the concert.
November 22 - Sigma Chi Alumni
Cookout on Tiger Lane
We will host South Florida and will gather on
Tiger Lane with specific lot information to be
announced.
December 9 - Alumni Luncheon
Noon at The Half Shell Poplar
