page 3 Delta Delta Delta D elta Mu's fall semester got off to an exciting start with this year's recruitment adding 115 new members to our Chapter. We are incredibly proud of this diverse group and the impact they will have in all areas of campus life. Fall Sisterhood Events Dot Semester After Bid Day we jumped right into sisterhood events, philanthropic activities, and socials. We are excited to host our second annual Gameday Giveback before the Texas A&M game on October 18 to raise money for St. Jude. We would love to see you at this fun event! We are also looking forward to initiation and Homecoming later in the semester. Delta Mu Top Fundraising Chapter At the Tri Delta Convention in July, the fraternity announced that Delta Mu was the top fundraising chapter for St. Jude in 2013-14. We are the first chapter to ever raise more than $200,000 in a single year, and our total contribution was more than $204,000! Together, Tri Deltas raised $6.1 million last year. Tri Delta also announced its new fundraising goal of $60 million in 10 years to name St. Jude's on-campus, short-term housing facility Tri Delta Place. Celebrating 100 Years It is such an exciting time to be a Delta Mu at the University of Alabama as we celebrate our 100th year. We are very proud of the strong tradition we have at The Capstone, and we have our incredible alumnae to thank for their continuing support. We look forward to seeing all of you soon!
