"They put a huge amount of faith and trust in me," she says. The business, which Marin residents depend on for plumbing services when they're in a jam, is thriving under her leadership. It is adopting new software to make the company run more efficiently. "We've always been a step ahead in using technology." Even though the company is up to date, however, she finds that being a woman in the plumbing industry can be a challenge. "I feel that women are scrutinized at a higher level, but it only motivates me to work harder," she says.
