F A L L 2 0 1 4 | NORTH BAY WOMAN 29 8. What can you wear to holiday parties instead of "the little black dress?" This season I like vintage inspired wide leg trousers, very 1970s, Or any piece with a leather detail. Taking a lady-like dress and adding leather gives it an edgy, playful feeling. 9. Are the "ugly Christmas sweaters" in style or just for the "ugly sweater parties?" I may not be the best person to answer this question, I love a great graphic print or a fun sweater, however, the overly decorated holiday, (not just Christmas), sweater is only to be worn for fun at parties. 10. What does "Dressing Up" mean in the 21st century? Dressing up in the North Bay tends to be a lot less formal than anywhere else so I always tell clients to research their location as well as the weather, from there you will be able to get a good sense of what your attire should be. I absolutely do not believe a nice cocktail dress would be considered "over dressed" in the fall or for a "dressy" party. 11. Everyone wants to look great in holiday photos – do you have any suggestions? For fun holiday photos, think outside the red and green box. Try gold paired with navy or a winter white. Also, keep away from having everyone wearing matching clothing, it will make your photos look dated. Make sure everyone wears something that they feel comfortable in and looks great and you will look like a group that belongs together. 12. What is this season's holiday must have color? Winter white, grey or burgundy. They look stunning together and will go with just about anything in your wardrobe.
