p. 3 Sigma Chi T he Gamma Delta Chapter of Sigma Chi is excited to start the fall semester after finishing a tremendous year. Our recruitment team had a successful summer after signing a large fall pledge class of 34 bright, young men who meet the requirements of the Jordan Standard. Gamma Delta was represented this summer at Grand Council, Horizons, and Balfour Leadership Training Workshop. Will Kuykendall '16 was selected as the Oklahoma/Arkansas province representative to the Grand Council. While there, he went to all business meetings and voted on key issues pertaining to the International Fraternity. Connor Davis '16 and Will were selected among 190 Sigma Chi undergraduate brothers to attend Sigma Chi Horizons. On the mountain, these two brothers learned how to strengthen their leadership skills in Sigma Chi and throughout the rest of their life. Collin Foster '16, Alex Washington '17, Caleb Gatlin '17, Dawson Keehn '16, Charlie Rosenberger '17, Steton Gilley '17, Evan McMillen '16, Will, and I represented Gamma Delta at Balfour Leadership Training Workshop, where we worked together to come up with ideas to better the Chapter. Connor represented Gamma Delta as a finalist for the International Balfour Award, given to the top graduating senior in the Fraternity. Gamma Delta is the only Chapter in the entire Fraternity that has had a brother nominated for this award three out of the last five years. This fall, we are lucky enough to be paired with the women of Kappa Alpha Theta for our Freshman Follies show and we look forward to building upon our recent show successes. For Homecoming we have paired with the women of Alpha Chi Omega who are very excited to collaborate with us and to create a stellar house decoration. We encourage alumni to stop by the house for our football tailgates this fall when you are in Stillwater. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
