epsilon chApTer of delTA gAmmA pAge 3 Striving for Excellence Epsilon Undergraduates Excel in GPA, Philanthropy T he Epsilon Chapter of Delta Gamma had an outstanding 2013-14 filled with exciting sisterhoods, successful philanthropic events, and fun socials that have united the Greek community. Our chapter has continued to improve every day and I am so proud to see how far we have come and where we are going. The members of Epsilon never fail to amaze me with both their personal achievements and dedication to the chapter. GPA above All-Greek Average............................................................................. Academics are a big focus in our chapter, as we look to improve the chapter GPA each semester and encourage members to keep working hard. Our chapter cumulative GPA is a 3.29 and is above the all- Greek average. At each chapter meeting we give out an incentive award to a member who has excelled on a midterm or project. This is a very fun way to encourage women to focus on their academics and to recognize the work we all put in. Philanthropy Raises $8,000................................................................................. In March we held Anchor Slam, a basketball tournament, to help raise money for Service for Sight. It was a huge success and an awesome way to bring together the Ohio State community. We raised more than $8,000 and will be having Anchor Slam again this fall. The Epsilon Chapter of Delta Gamma continues to strive for excellence and we cannot wait to see what this year holds. We would like to thank our alumnae for all of their support, and we would love to have you stop by the chapter house for a visit or attend any of our events.
