v 2 THE CAL SIG L ibertarian political satirist. Humorist. Magazine editor. Blogger. Throughout his vast career, Greg Gutfeld '87 has worn many hats, seen (and said) many things, and has even been called "outrageous and outspoken" and "the most dangerous man on television." Since graduating from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in English, Greg has held numerous positions at publications such as Men's Health, Stuff, and Maxim. He was one of the first posting contributors to The Huffington Post from its launch in 2005. He now has his own blogsite, The Daily Gut (ggutfeld.com). In 2007, he joined FOX News Channel and currently hosts Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld (which airs weeknights at 3 a.m./ET) and is co-host of The Five (weekdays at 5 p.m./ET). On The Five, Greg is one of seven rotating co-hosts who discuss a variety of topics, including the top stories of the day, pop culture, and politics. Greg has written five books, among them his newest Not Cool, the New York Times best seller, The Joy of Hate, and The Bible of Unspeakable Truths, which garnered praise from the likes of Dennis Miller, Mike Huckabee, Ann Coulter, and Andrew Breitbart. Greg resides in New York City, New York, with his wife, Elena. Four bedrooms, including the Seventh Heaven quad, were remodeled and new bunk beds were purchased. The kitchen underwent a huge upgrade with new flooring, an industrial-sized fridge, and the removal of the pass-through window, making it more streamlined, which allows for less clutter. Alpha Beta Chapter is fortunate to have the tireless support and guidance of one of the best chapter advisors of any chapter in Del Tacconi, Utah State '62. Del spends countless hours at the house mentoring our active chapter and ensuring our rich traditions are continued. We are fortunate to have Del at Alpha Beta, and I would like to take this opportunity to give him a big Sigma Chi shout-out. Join Alpha Beta This Fall Football season is around the corner and we hope you can visit the chapter house and see for yourself the improvements that have been made. Alumni events are planned for the UCLA game and it promises to be a lot of fun. Remember to mark your calendar for Friday, November 21, for the Big Game Luncheon at Schroeder's Restaurant in San Francisco. This is always the premier alumni event of the year, and has been for over 25 years. Brother Steven Rocha '78 and his committee always ensure a great time is had by all. I hope you enjoy the remainder of the summer. I look forward to seeing you at the chapter house this fall. Go, Bears!
