Ourthird anniversary party was a huge suc- cess; we had a lot of fun, got some filming done for the doc- umentary and collected lots of canned foods and some money for Food For The Hungry. Thank you so much to all who came and celebrated with us. We are also getting some sponsors helping us out with the documentary. An Eskimo kiss and a gi- gantic thank you to Linda Smith, Kathy Dusina, Shirley McLean, The Sail House and The Mill MMA. You guys rock, and I hope you know how much I ap- preciate you. I have been training like a beast, and let me tell you, it's not as easy as it was last time I went. This old body is creaking and crackling. Dang old, abused joints. I push them as hard as I can, though, and I'm pretty con- fident that I will get at least two golds this time. My guys from Team In- tense are training like crazy too. They fight in Gridley on July 12. I can't wait to see them in action. It's going to be awesome. Swing by if you want to buy a ticket from one of them — after 6 p.m. Mon- day-Friday. In terms of self defense, I had a special request for a class from Theresa who owns Bud's Jolly Kone. She wanted me to do a private session for her employees. I don't typically do private lessons, but she was con- cerned for their safety, so we put it together. I had a blast with these ladies, and I was really im- pressed with how much they learned. Also, The- resa got each of them a self defense tool from Damsel In Defense. What an awesome boss. Thank you, Theresa for putting your employees' safety as a priority — and for having amazing burgers. This Saturday, June 28, we will be doing our fi- nal fundraiser for the doc- umentary. We are having a car wash at Red Bluff Vi- sion Center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. I will have Team Psy- cho shirts for sale, and, best of all, BeastUP will be there offering samples of their brand new energy drink and will be selling them with a portion of the proceeds go- ing to sponsor our project. Please come by, get a killer car wash and have a BeastUP energy drink. Don't miss out on all the fun. AveryVilcheisafitness instructor who owns Psy- cho Fitness & MMA at 1450 Schwab St. in Red Bluff.
