The City retained the services of KRK Consulting and Data Transfer Solutions, LLC (DTS). DTS is a national firm and provides professional asset management and mobile data collection to local and state government agencies. DTS operates a sophisticated data collection vehicle, equipped with an array of precision instrumentation and data collection equipment that helps state and local transportation agencies inventory and manage transportation infrastructure facilities and assets. Specifically, the van has forward-facing digital cameras that will collect all imagery of all the above ground transportation related assets located in the right-of-way (ranging from stop lights and speed limit signs to guardrails and curbs) and create a digital video inventory. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a downward facing, illuminated line scan camera off the back, which will collect imagery of the City's pavement. The pavement condition information can be used for condition analyses, project prioritizing and capital planning purposes. In order to collect all the data, the vehicle will be traveling roads within the city limits of Fayetteville. The vehicle can only collect data during daylight hours. If any resident has any question(s) or needs any additional information regarding the vehicle, the project or the process, they are encouraged to contact Construction Management Manager Jeffrey Riddle at (910) 433-1661 or jriddle@ci.fay.nc.us. • Economic Development Advocate Award • Industry Anniversary Awards • The Al Prewitt Economic Development Visionary Award
