Dear
ATO
Brothers:
As
president
of
Iowa
State
University,
I
strongly
support
the
fundraising
campaign
that
has
been
launched
by
the
Gamma
Upsilon
Chapter
of
Alpha
Tau
Omega
to
strengthen
and
improve
the
chapter
at
Iowa
State.
I
encourage
all
brothers
and
friends
of
the
chapter
to
support
it.
For
more
than
100
years,
ATW
has
made
significant
contributions
to
Iowa
State,
through
the
leadership
and
philanthropy
of
the
student
members,
and
through
the
many
alumni
who
have
gone
on
to
prominent
positions
in
business,
industry,
and
other
professions
and
who
provide
outstanding
volunteer
service
to
the
university.
The
Greek
system
is
a
very
important
part
of
Iowa
State's
living
and
learning
environment,
with
its
emphasis
on
academic
excellence
and
engagement
with
the
university
and
broader
community.
Many
of
our
Greek
chapters
are
undertaking
renovations
to
improve
their
chapter
houses
and
make
necessary
upgrades
to
continue
to
be
a
viable
and
competitive
part
of
the
university's
housing
options
for
students,
and
I
applaud
ATW
for
joining
in
this
effort.
Your
campaign
will
provide
needed
improvements
to
the
facility
and
modernization
of
the
academic
support
structure,
as
well
as
provide
additional
scholarship
funds
to
help
members
achieve
their
educational
and
career
goals.
Thank
you
for
supporting
the
Gamma
Upsilon
Chapter
of
Alpha
Tau
Omega
in
its
fundraising
campaign.
I
wish
you
great
success!
Sincerely,
Steven
Leath
President
