I V www.cityoffayetteville.org Museumcontinued The exhibit offers visitors the rare opportunity to view a premier collection of pristine Fayetteville antebellum bank notes, which feature elaborate vignettes. This rare collection is on temporary loan from the private collection of David Boitnott, who is one of the leading collectors of obsolete bank notes and associated banking material in North Carolina. Also featured in this exhibit is a variety of other antebellum Fayetteville related banking documents  notes. The exhibit includes examples of Civil War period paper money issued by the State of North Carolina and the Confederate States Government, both of which were common place in Fayetteville. Immediately following the Civil War, Fayetteville printed Municipal script designed for paying taxes or other debts owed to the town. The program is the brainchild of Kari Ellis, forensic video specialist, who saw a need in the community for a better understanding of the “best practices” for the installation and operation of video surveillance equipment. POLICE A brochure is available to the public and will be distributed by the Police Department’s Crime Prevention Teams. The FBI has provided a website where interested parties can watch a 15 minute video regarding the best practices for maximizing the effectiveness of video surveillance/evidence.
