Rides are available from 1 to 8 p.m. and last around 20 minutes. Your white Cinderella carriage will depart from 222 Hay St. across from Pierro’s Italian Bistro. Tickets are just $15 a person, but you can bring the kids along and only pay $5 for them if they are under 12. A private carriage ride for two can be all yours for only $50. For reservations, come by City Center Gallery & Books at 112 Hay St. or you can call 678-8899 to for Valentine’s Day, especially for the private carriage rides, and advance reservations are strongly recommended before Feb. 12. Downtown - Giving from the Heart Between now and Valentine’s Day, merchants downtown will be collecting canned goods and non-perishable items for the Second Harvest Food Bank. Be sure to help those with ongoing needs with the local food pantries and join “Downtown - Giving from the Heart.” Bins will be placed in participating merchants downtown; just look for the red heart in windows!
